Therapeutic Parenting Assessment
At the heart of our Community Parenting Assessment Service is a commitment to supporting families in a compassionate, non judgemental way. We know that many of the parents and children we work with have faced difficult life experiences including trauma, loss, or a lack of support and our aim is to provide a space where they feel safe, respected, and heard.
Using the ParentAssess framework, we take a holistic and therapeutic approach to exploring parenting capacity. This means we don’t just look at what’s going wrong we focus on strengths, potential, and the support families need to thrive. Everything we do is centred around the well-being of the child, while also recognising the parent’s own story and how it impacts their ability to care.
Community Supervised Contact
Our Community Supervised Contact Service is built on empathy, safety, and respectful relationships. We understand that spending time together under supervision can feel daunting for both parents and children, especially when trust has been broken or emotions are running high. That’s why we create a calm, welcoming environment where contact can be a positive experience not just a requirement.
We take a therapeutic approach to supervised contact, focusing on helping families rebuild connections at a pace that feels safe and manageable. Our experienced team provides gentle guidance, emotional support, and clear boundaries, always keeping the child’s needs at the centre. Whether it's helping a parent respond more sensitively or supporting a child to feel secure, we’re there every step of the way.
